I have never been a whiz at math. I know that if you say something long enough you can make it true and for years I have said this. When I was in math class in middle school there were 6 "Jeans" in the class. Every time the teacher would say "Jean" one of the other Jeans would jump in. I never had to answer. Until the last day...when the teacher said, "Jean Buschke". No one jumping in to rescue me that day! And of course...I did not know the answer. How could I? I had ducked the work all year long.
I am vowing to change that by embracing my own version of math...my own equation. Intention + plan X movement = my goal.
I am going to spend a couple posts exploring my equation so if you want to embrace it you'll understand the math principals behind it. Rather impressive don'tyou think?! LOL
The first part deals with intention. What's your intention? Are you clear yet? Have you spent time thinking about what you want? Who you want in your life? Where you want to live? What you want to be doing?
If we don't have a clear intention the rest of the equation just doesn't work. It's like that old quote that says if you don't know where you are going you will probably end up somewhere else. No kidding!
So you need to be clear on what you want. NOT wishy-washy. Clear. If you are focusing on one area of your life ...fine. Then focus. What is your intention?
My overall intention is to create a company where I write and produce products that I believe will help people lead the most authentic lives possible. That is my intention.
Again...what is yours?
Tomorrow we will add "plan" to the equation. See you then.
