Okay maybe that label is not printed anywhere but it should be! Do Not shrink to fit! Do not live your life less than you want it to be.
You will not, if you are like most people, get a lot of encouragement for living a larger life. Most people will tell you to play it safe, do what you have always done and keep your head down. Shrink to fit in.
Good lord...if we have learned anything over this past year of our system collapsing and people who have played it safe all their lives and are now unemployed/underemployed...playing it safe isn't a guarantee that life will not come at you away.
So what is the lesson? Do what is in your heart. If you go down at least you go down being inspired by what you have done or were trying to do. Is it easy?...Hell no! That's why shrinking is so attractive. But remember... no risk...no gain.
Look at your perfect day...are you living it...at least part of it? Why not?
If you are...FABULOUS! Now make that bigger, fuller...expand on it so you feel absolutely that you are living your life the way it was meant to be lived.
I believe we are meant for more joy, less drama. More connection, less isolation. More happiness, less contention...but you have to want it. And you have to be willing to not shrink to fit.
