I just read an article that made me sad and very grateful at the same time. Ever have that experience?
I read an article about housing in Hong Kong where housing is so expensive that people with little income live in cages stacked on top of each other. It's not even a secret. People know about it...are angry about it but little changes because of a lot of factors including the global financial crisis.
I often wonder if the folks who truly have the power to influence enormous change had to experience things like this...magically mountains would be moved. I believe that.
Today I am thankful..very thankful for what I have in my life and I hope you take time to be grateful too. Then let's turn our attention to helping someone who is coming behind us. That my friend is gratitude in action... :)
Being grateful is so very important and a great reminder. Thanks for doing both here today! With Gratitude, Wendy

Hi Jean,
I've written about gratitude over and over - there is so much we take for granted that so many around the world would simply love to have.
I've seen about some of that accomodation in Hong Kong, and it really does drive home the space we should be grateful for.
Thanks for the reminder,
cheers,
Gordon

It's really sad how some people live in such poor conditions...
