before you can truly start again. That's what I have been thinking about all morning today. Maybe that is one of the keys for truly moving forward.
If you have one foot in your old life and one foot in the new life you are creating...it could be hard to find your balance.
Take a relationship. If you are in an unhappy one...I am a firm believer that you need to end that one before you can turn your attention to a new relationship. And if I were to give any relationship advise it would be to take a break any way before you get involved with another person. After anything ends...whether you wanted it to or not there has to be a period of mourning.
Mourning for what you have lost. Maybe you lost the idea of what your life would be like with the person. Maybe you lost your vision of what you thought you wanted. It is a lost never the less and you need to pause and observe that. Not to go over it a zillion times in your head...but pause and give it some attention.
It's your regroup time. Maybe you can do that with one foot in each camp...and then again maybe not. Focus cannot go in two directions at the same time. Or at least I don't think it can.
