How is your new year going? Mine is going GREAT! Thank you very much...
I am practicing what I believe and it is working :) Who knew?!! Okay I believed it would but seeing it unfold..magical. I wish the same for you. I really do...
Here is something I am doing that is making a difference. I am a clutter monkey. Anything and everything I get attached to and save...cause I may need it in ten years! Of course I won't be able to find it but...I will have a faint memory of it!
I have read countless articles about de-cluttering and getting organized but nothing really clicked. I think you can hear or read the same information from two sources and one will resonate with you while the other doesn't make a dent in your thinking.
I know that is true because I have seen it countless times. I taught a class years and years ago at a technical school about self development. A young woman was in the class who simply blossomed a little more with each class. On the last night a woman came up to me on our break. It was the young woman's mother. She said she came to the school to thank me for making such a difference in her daughter's life. She said she had said the same things to her daughter for years but it didn't matter. I responded..what she said did matter and now same message...different voice...when all that put together... it got through. Plus who wants to believe their mom is right...and she laughed.
Here is what I read the other morning. A sculptor looks at a lump of clay and sees a vision for the piece the sculptor sees inside.
Then the sculptor chips away the excess...everything that does not fit the vision of the piece the sculptor knows is there. That clicked with me.
I have a vision for my life. It's clear. I am now chipping away everything that does't fit. It's absolutely amazing. It's actually joyful to let go of what doesn't fit. And I can let it go with joy...cause it does not fit!
I highly recommend this. Get your vision. Get it clear. Then look around your life and start chipping! Chip away...chip away! You can celebrate later with the potato chips!
