I am running late today so I do not want to start our five day experience with our senses until tomorrow.
I like an early morning start and today...well I was at the laundromat. And after 12 loads of laundry..yes 12..I am proud to say everything is cleaned and I am embarrassed to say...who the hell needs this many clothes?!
My overwhelming number of "things" represent someone who has not pay attention. And someone who does not let go of things easily...that will end as I now go through everything and I am committed to donating 1/2 of it St Vincent's, a local agency that does great things for people and has a resell store.
When I worked like a crazy woman I bought clothes without thinking. And over the years I have just never gotten rid of things. As I move forward I want to be more clutter and "stuff" free. That means letting go with gratitude. Gratitude that I was able to have it and gratitude that someone else may now use it too.
Clearing space usually means creating a void that then gets filled once again. This time I want filling any void I create more deliberately and with a focus towards bring me joy. And that I can assure you I will hold on to!
Tomorrow we start exploring our senses and how they can increase our joy.
