In real life search and rescue operations and in the ones in the movies it appears to me that the one looking to be found would be better off of they just sat tight. You know...rather than wandering aimlessly in the forest looking for a way out.
It seems like the searchers always come across evidence of where the lost one had been. I am always thinking...Sit tight! Sit tight! Help is on the way....
But what happens when you are lost and no one knows it? You have lost your way but no one has mounted a search party because ...well... you are actually right in front of them and they cannot tell you have lost your way!
Welcome to my world right now. The other day I asked myself "how many times does one have to start over?" The answer came back in a millisecond..."as many times as it takes!"
So here I go again.
I have been sitting tight for several weeks trying to find some footing. Looks like I am getting ready to mount my own rescue. The good news is I know exactly where I am.
Sometimes though we are not lost - it just seems that way becasue nothing appears to be moving as we would like. sometimes it is better to sit and wait and let things come to fruition in the right time

I think you are right Dot. I keep remembering that a farmer does not pull out a crop because it's not growing faster enough...
